I apologize for not posting when I said I would. To tell the truth, I have just been plain lazy. I purchased Final Fantasy X-2 and I have not even cracked it open yet; it hasn't even touched the inside of my PS2 yet. I have just been watching television, talking on the phone, chatting online, programming, and other things that I usually I haven't even watched Viper's Creed yet... man I am such a fucking procrastinator! I have been doing things, just nothing that is noteworthy. I have been sticking to my workout schedule: 2 hours of anaerobic exercise on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; 2 hours of aerobics on Tuesday and Thursday. I for sure make the M/Tu/W/F workouts; I don't always make my Thursday workouts though, because I have other things I do--I can do stuff on Saturdays!

I may not have been playing my new game (this will change tonight), but my case worker took me to the library today. I got a book for my parents. For me I checked out, Something Wicked this way Comes by Ray Bradbury. I knocked out the first fifty pages rather easily. From what I have read so far, it is like The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, but with a Bradbury twist. My goal is fifty pages per day. At this rate, I should finish the book in about six days. If I get into it, I might finish it sooner .

I will probably post on Sunday... hopefully with something interesting.

Tune in tomorrow or Monday to find out. Now here is a techno mix from a high school friend called Eat my Buns!. It is based on an inside joke; enjoy!

Foxy News
Posted July 8, 2010 @ 7:45pm
Another second post in one day! Don't get behind reading posts .

Okay so my parents watch Fox News all the time and I just don't get it. I like Fox & Friends (when I'm awake for it) and Glenn Beck, that's it. What other programming is so interesting that it can "entertain" a person for a whole day?? The only things that seem to be in the news these days are the Gulf Oil Spill (old news) and kidnappings (also old news). About the only thing I get off of Fox News is how poorly President Obama is running our nation. I get my news from the newspaper and the internet, not Fox News. I have nothing against it, I just want to know what the big fuss is? The other networks like CNN or MSNBC seem to be falling behind big time. Maybe Fox News is number one because they are fighting the liberal media on her old turf...television. I honestly don't know what's up, please someone enlighten me. I'll continue to watch local news, read the newspaper, and watch Glenn Beck.

Republicans seem to be quite comfortable on the radio; with Fox News, it is easy to see why Liberals are getting their balls twisted in a knot. I still don't know much about the nation's status at this moment, but I do know that something needs to be done about the oil spill. So Obama, get off your milky chocolate ass and do something about YOUR nation, ffs man do your job. If there's one thing Fox News has taught me, is that you are a horrible leader and are unfit at best to do your job.

Tomorrow I will have some anime updates and perhaps some music stuffs. Or will I do something with video games? WHO KNOWS~

TF2, Name Change & Granny
Posted June 28, 2010 @ 6:55pm
I am getting pretty good at Team Fortress II. On the simulators I score average on the highest difficulty. I remember two weeks ago I was on easy and normal difficulty was bossing me around. I love the heavy class. He's slow but he packs one hell of a punch! Many thanks to Kesha, a good friend of mine, for sending me Deus X: Game of the Year Edition, for Steam, as a gift. I don't know exactly why he sent it to me, but I sure do thank him: it is fun as hell! I want to get Counter Strike: Source and play around with that again. I played the original Counter Strike in my programming class in high school. I was pretty good at it; Team Fortress II is totally different. It is hard as hell for me to aim. As I said earlier, I am getting better. That is all I can ask for--improvement .

Some of you may be aware that I have changed my name in certain places on the internet. My name will remain a constant on this blog. That name is "nerd". I am not giving up the name Nerblog. The name I switched to on all the forms I visit is "Ayanami" (os in Rei Ayanami off of Neon Genesis Evangelion). I go by "Ayanami" on forums and all IRC rooms that I am in. So if you are looking for me on IRC, look for "Ayanami" instead of "nerd/neRd". You can still call me "nerd" in chat rooms, e-mails, and forums if you like, I just might be slow to reply. Plus if I changed my name on my blog, I'd have to think of a whole new name; Ayablog? (ew). Nerblog will always be there!

Yesterday was a free-for-all on waffles. Someone spent 643,772 points to grant every one on the website got a free leech for 24 whole hours! Everyone downloaded their asses off. Personally, I recieved about 22 torrents. My ratio is now up to 0.88 with 155 points. How did that guy get 643,772 points to get everyone a free leech day? I mean, how can one individual get that much music? Oh well, I guess that I'll never know!

Today was the birthday of my late Granny, she would have been 87 years old. I miss her with all my heart and just know that she, along with the grandfather I never knew, are both in heaven. Granny, I will always remember you for your sweet personality and ability to never say no to a beer . I love you, granny~

Beat that Heat
Posted June 25, 2010 @ 2:25pm
The heat here in Missouri is brutal. Granted places such at Phoenix and Death Valley are far worse. The humidity here in J-Town makes for temperatures of around 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius). That makes for heat indices of around 105 degrees Fahrenheit (~41 degrees Celsius). It is even hotter than hell inside. I am in this back room where it is nice and cool; thank God for air conditioners! The main room of the house has a huge air conditioner, so that's nice as well. The dining area and kitchen however, are almost boiling in comparison to the other rooms!

I want to go swimming, but I just don't have the funding to do so. I think it is $2.00 to get into the public pool. I guess I could go swimming at the local YMCA. That is if there are no classes going on at the time. It seems that every time I look in the pool area, it is either full with old people doing aqua aerobics, or the pool is closed. My mom and dad used to have a pool, but due to certain circumstances, they sold it. What can a guy do to beat the heat outside?? I have been going for walks around noon and boy is that a mistake. I can only go for about one mile in this heat; I am ashamed of that. I refuse to wake up early to walk, but I guess I could try to put my walk off into the evening time. I would ride a bike to get a breeze going on, but someone stole my bicycle a few eons back.

One last matter of business. I have changed my AIM account. It is now AyanamiRE. Here is the updated contact information as of 6/25/10. Oh and to my friend Stosh...lay off of the furries!

I have no Title!
Posted June 24, 2010 @ 2:55pm
Well as far as mood goes, I have been feeling pretty down over the past few days. Perhaps it is the rediscovery of Stranger than Reality and Stranger than Reality II. I am just as lonely and as scared as before. Last night was especially as bad. I kept hearing and seeing all sorts of things. Things that I have seen and heard before: scary things. I kept seeing, hearing, and feeling the man in the hat. I also kept seeing Cat, but that is really nothing out of the ordinary. My parents and I think that reviewing Stranger than Reality and Stranger than Reality II have sort of "stirred the pot" and brought forth old, and quite bad and painful memories. Either way I am still painfully lonely; I seek companionship of some sort. Anyone but my parents...one might say that I am seeing love of some kind. Not the kind of love you get from family, but one you can get from (preferably) a female, or even a male, companion. Loneliness is a painful and truly bitter pill to swallow. I am praying and begging to the Lord God and Jesus to help me with my situation. Either with helping me find a companion, or easing my pain through spiritual means. I don't know what exactly it will take to alleviate my pain, but I am constantly working toward a remedy.

On a totally different subject manner, a good friend of mine has graduated this year from the University of Missouri (Mizzou). He majored in, I think, mathematics and minored in computer science and Russian. At this moment, his brother told me that my friend is currently in Russia. All I have to say to this subject is... GG . You worked hard and deserve to get what you have earned.

Today I got my mangy paws on a copy of Wrestlemania XVI. I haven't watched it yet, but I am going to look into it just as soon as this post is put up. I will post again either tomorrow or Saturday. Take care, my friends . Remember, If you want to talk to me for any reason, see the contact information box on the lower right side.

Up to Speed; Part I
Posted Mar. 20, 2010 @ 6:30pm
After at least two years off, nerblog is baaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Things have not been going all too well over in my neck of the woods. I’ve been gone over a year or two! M I have sprained both of my ankles, fell flat on my ass, been hospitalized for not only physical ailments, but for my schizophrenia. I also have to move back in to my parents’ in the back room. I have also suffered thru a grand maul seizure. Boy that sure was some good fun! Welcome back to nerblog, my loyal viewers!

I was out for a walk one day and low and behold, I fell over air; that’s right, my own two feet! I went to the emergency room and they gave me something for the sprain and the pain (he he I rhymed!). I was in a boot. This one was mild, though. I suffered another sprain, but this time it was on my left ankle. The second time [the incident] was more comical. I was just standing there; I felt a *nudge** and fell over Sucks to be me. This doctor that saw me said that it was the worst sprain that he ever saw. Thanks for the boost in my confidence, doc! To the time of this writing, I continue to wear this this wretched boot. I have to use a walker, though. I have to keep it on until around May 5, 2010. Speaking of May 5, be sure wish Andy (accius) a happy birthday!

With the injuries of my ankles and the need of my walker, my parents said to move on in. Now comes the scary part. I mean this scared even me once I found out what happened! The following is a statement from eyewitnesses: I was eating cereal and all of a sudden I swiped the table and cleared it. I then apparently began to convulse. As I awoke, I was in a daze. My dad was there and told me that I had a a grand maul seizure. I was non-responsive and just plain out of it. I don’t remember a thing of the event. I am fine now though now that they put me on Depakote. This happened on May 8, but I am still sore to the time of this writing (May 17).

Now imagine a whole 3 room apartment being crammed into 2 small rooms. I can’t officially move back until I ditch the walker. It’ll be nice staying with the folks, though. I will post again at a later date; hopefully nerblog will be up again and I can leave this face book page.

I got a killer recipe for nachos from a friend.
1. 2 cups of milk 2. Box of velveta 3. Can of ro-tel 4. lb of hamburer
Brown the hamburger and drain the ro-tel. Then slice the cheese up and place it into the milk. Keep the heat on medium. When the milk and cheese are all melted together, take it off the burner. Now mix the cheese sauce with the hamburger and ro-tel. If you did it right, you should have a killer sauce. Pour it over some chips and enjoy!

I'm hungry now...GIMME SOME NACHOS!!!11

Short Story!
Posted Sept. 1, 2008 @ 4:30pm
Happy Labor Day to the U.s.!

I am in the process of writing a short story. It will be titled Battle of the Dead Planet. Here's a part of the introduction:
It was around forty years ago when the greatest battle, that of which decided the fate of the universe, was fought. This story is both an inward and outward journey of four friends who dared challenge the great power; the Master of Time and Space. Reader, look upon the story with great reverence as it is these four heroes: Billy West, Jesse Williams, Julia Young, and Li Xang that made it possible for you to live in such a way where freedom is celebrated. Now onward, reader...read the epic tale of the Dead Planet and how it came to life.
I am about half way completed with the story. When it's done, I will post it here on Nerblog!

I have to stay up all night tonight for a sleep study tomorrow morning! I will be playing my PS2 all night and drink coffee and dunk my head in cold water. That's all for now! My short story should be done within a week or so!

Real Anger
Posted July 16, 2008 @ 10:55am
To quote Accius (owner of Maavrik), "I am so mad!" I was supposed to be taken to Wal-Mart for another job cite...but my ride never showed up. He was at least supposed to come and review what I did last week ! I hope that he was just really busy and didn't forget all about me. I really want to nail a job at the Wal-Mart! My only hope is that he calls me later on to reschedule our appointment. Maybe he had a death in the family?

My iPod is still dead. I need to either get a portable CD player or a new iPod. I've done all that I can to fix my iPod, but nothing works!

To Cure What Ails
Posted July 11, 2008 @ 3:15pm
I have been playing Shadowman and Pokemon Gold for a few days now. I rather enjoy playing both of them; though I do like Pokemon Gold more. I didn't actually buy my copy of Gold...I have it on my emulator . I plan on buying Fire Red or Leaf Green. That is I plan on purchasing it; my friend, Jim, says that he is going to buy Leaf Green. We are als0 thinking of purchasing a DS and play Pokemon there! Although I would rather have a PS2 over a DS. Once I get $100.00, I will purchase one (PS2).

I have been hammering Ghost in the Shell mangas and a Star Trek book entitled Vulcan's Forge. Although I will admit that I play video games far more often than I read . I usually read around 9:00pm-12:00am. The rest of my day is spent watching T.V., playing video games, exercising, and just having fun!

I accidnetlly dropped my cell phone about three months ago. I have been using my mom's old cell phone; it has a faulty screen. I am hoping to get a new cell phone in the near future.

I am off to go do errands and such. I'll post l8r!
