For Mother's Day, I got my mom a card and a Resident Evil 4 poster [Leon getting his head chainsawed off]. I also shelled out $5.00 out on a card for her [money is no object ]. Overall, I think she enjoyed her Mother's Day...now the challenge of Father's Day rears its head!

Some Ghost in the Shell manga arrived today. I got 1 and 1.5; I am going to tear thru these manga like there is no tomorrow! I'll post more on it once I am finished.

It's getting hotter and hotter as summer comes to visit us in the states. My wrist is healing, but still injured so I can't lift weights. I am walklng 2-6 miles (3-10 Km) per day to stay in shape and lose weight.

So I have given up my search for the Wii...for now. Now I am all hot for getting my mangy paws on a PS2. I have [secretly] wanted one for years. I don't know anything about the price tags on the console. I'm going to search Amazon.com and Overstock.com; I am also going to hunt around town in places such as GameXChange, Game Stop, and Vintage Stock. I hope that I can acquire one in short time .

I went in for an eye examination today. I am spending almost $200.00 on one pair of glasses. my eyes are so bad that I didn't qualify for the two pairs of glasses for $70.00. I really don't care about the price, I just want to be able to see again.

I am stuck in a bit of a "reader's block". I want to read, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Guess I'll try again after my shrink apointment tomorrow (and after the mall trip).

After I get my glasses, I am going to go and see Speed Racer. That's all for now!
