Kansas City Air
Posted August 24, 2008 @ 8:30pm
So I am back from my trip to Kansas City, MO. The trip was both rich and fulfilling. It also left me red as a strawberry! I went to see family and what was possibly the most fun air show that I have ever attended. All in all I want to go back again in a few weeks to visit with my family more.

The air show that I attended with my father was fantastic! The only bad thing is that drinks were $3.00 (even for a bottle of water)! We saw stationary exhibits and some live aerobatics to boot! An F-15 fighter and a B-25 were both flying in synchronization. Another guy flew by the runway and almost broke the sound barrier right there; you could see the vapor at the edge of his wings. He was probably only 100 MPH under mach 1. The seats that we were at were about 200 feet from the runway. I got my picture taken with me and a Blue Angels airplane. The Thunderbirds were there live to perform at the end of the day. They all flew in F-16 fighters and were in very tight formation. Their show lasted about 30 to 45 minutes and I loved every minute of it.

My dad was on camera duty during the air show. He took a picture of me by a Blue Angels air craft. He also took some photos of the Thunderbirds. He might have taken a photo of the plane that almost broke the sound barrier. He also, I think, took some of the still exhibits. The photo gallery is here.

My family in Kansas City is of the Jewish faith. Every Friday they celebrate something called Shabbat. I am not sure of the inner workings of the ceremony, but I do know that it involves eating a lot of food and drinking wine.

As with any good time, there must be a bad one. My second cousin, Josh, lives up in the Kansas City region. He tries to emulate me all the time. He also lives to push my buttons at every corner. It was his wild antics that got me through the trip on a good note.

I took my PS2 up to Kansas City. I managed to kill Seymour in Final Fantasy X. I also played some good old Final Fantasy.

On a last personal note, I am no longer seeing Daisy. I’ll blog again later!

Almost There

I managed to fix my iPod last night. I am not exactly sure what I did to the sucker, but the point is...it's fixed! I now have all 3006 of my songs loaded on to it. I am so happy that it's finally fixed up!

I rented two PS2 games a few days back. Ratchet and Clank and Tomb Raider: Anniversery. Both of them are very fun to play; plus they make a nice deversion from Final Fantasy X.

That's all for now. This is my last post before I head to Kansas City!

So for the past week or two, my life has gone rather swimmingly. I have been doing great in the Cedar Hill program, made some new friends...oh I also now have a very beautiful and funny girlfreind, Daisy. She is 18 and attends the local university. She is busy during the weekdays / weeknights, but on the weekends we spend most every waking minute together .

On a more gaming / musical note, I am trucking along in Final Fantasy X. I also have all of the soundtracks! I am looking for FF1 and FF2 for the Gameboy Advance SP. I had it long ago and traded it for The Legend of Zelda.

This next upcomming Friday, I am going to Kansas City, MO for an airshow and family vacation. That's enough blogging for now...later!

Getting Along
Posted August 6, 2008 @ 5:55pm
I have been feeling rather under the weather over these past few days. I had a rather horrifying hallucination this past Monday. I saw what looked like my father; his bad shoulder was positioned below his ribcage and he was covered in blood. He was moaning, "Help me, Alex, help." That was when I decided to quit for the day. When I got back to my apartment, I took an emergency medication to help me calm down.

Speaking of my dad, he has been working his ass off; he has been plugging away every day for twelve hour shifts. At least he has his weekends free to relax and work around at the home. He is supposed to head on up to Raciene, Wisconsin soon to do some sort of complex task there. I don't want him to go, but it's all a part of his job!

Yesterday I watched College Road Trip with a few friends of mine. It was a pretty funny movie . I would rate it at an 8 out of 10. Accius took some pictures at our bowling games this saturday. I placed them in my photos section under Bowlng Photos by Accius.

One last note...I am more than addicted to Final Fantasy X. I've gotta go play more! Till next time~

Bowling RPGs

This previous Saturday I went to the bowling alley with Accius, Irayo, and Kaj. We bowled four to five games and shot some pool. Now let me tell you, pool is not my game. I can't even hit the cue ball. As for bowling, Accius took the cake. I was runner up; Irayo was close to me / beat me in a game. Accuis took pictures of everyone; I'll try to get some photos from him.

I rented Resident Evil: Outbreak yesterday and I find it to be a horrible game. I am trucking on thru Final Fantasy X and loving it!

That's all for now. I'm going to nap and watch TV, then play FFX!
